Hôtel Rivié
In the bosom of a changing neighbourhood, the historic heart of garment fabrication in Paris, and crossed by numerous Parisian arcades typical of the 19th century, the remains of the hôtel Rivié (1732) and of former garment factories will be transformed into a contemporary space, creating the link between the various historical, cultural and social strata of this urban environment.
The aim is to create a nexus, a place of experiences and encounters, the assembly point which this neighbourhood lacks. The 120 rooms and suites articulate in continuity around the public areas while offering comfortable and private spaces of understated elegance to travellers. The approach of the hotel’s functions is made through a spatial and visual experience and derives from the general scenography of the ground floor areas. They emerge from the global scenario as an additional layer of representation.
